Welcome to Our Savior Lutheran Church. Thank you for taking interest in us. And congratulations to you for taking an interest in the world of the Church altogether. For that reality around which we gather is the most precious one of all - the love of God in Christ Jesus.

We need God in our lives. We were made to live with Him. And if we do not live with Him, our life is not in order. It is out of place.

And that is pretty much what our lives are, out of place. Therefore we need the mercy of God. For without the mercy of God we are doomed to eternal death and destuction in Hell. We are not right with God. We are sinners, and we do not obey His will in all things. Our lives do not measure up to what they should be. And therefore we are under His wrath. For so good is God that He hates all that is not, all that is evil ...

In Church God meets us with His mercy. The Gospel is proclaimed to us; and it lets us know that in His love for us God gave His only begotten Son up to incredible sufferings, and death, in order for us to be rescued from death and damnation and ransomed to be His own, to live in His love, and to be forever with Him.

In Church the risen Christ meets us and gives Himself to us. He does that in the Gospel and in the sacraments. In Church He lives with us, and we live with Him. He gives us the promise that one day we shall be completely with Him. And even until then - living with Him makes life rich.
